I have high expectations for the new year. 2013 had started rather gloomy but ended on a high note. I went on 2 trips (outside of Texas that’s a HUGE deal), passed my exams (only took me 3 years), lost 22 lbs, gained baby muscles, started running and spend a lot of time with me. I feel like I found myself. It’s hard to explain but after spend way to much time studying and reading I was finally able to do the things I enjoy doing. I met a lot of great people and reconnected with old friends. 2014 is only going to be better.
So without further ado here is my December workout log.
I was doing just fine until after my ski trip. I got lazy Christmas week then got sick with the flu the week after. Pretty disappointed with December’s workout log. My eating was terrible basically ate whatever I wanted, you name it I ate it (except for meat). The weird thing is I lost 2 lbs the last 2 weeks of December. Normally this would excite me except that I know I lost precious muscle and not body fat. Oh well it’s a new year. No need to dwell on the past. Here is my new plan for January 2014.
This is busy season for me at work which means I now have to work Saturdays until April 15th, with plenty of sleep I should be able to get all my workouts in and stay on point with everything. By the way “cardio” will consist of taking my dogs to the park (yay) or walking on the dreaded treadmill (BORING!). We’ll see how it goes.
